The Harmony Fund Forty children were able to receive assistance from the Harmony Fund in 2019, but we know we can do even more. This initiative provides opportunities in music for disadvantaged children and underfunded schools in Dedham, Boston, and surrounding communities by significantly subsidizing the cost of classes, lessons, instrument rentals, and registration fees. We need your help to purchase new instruments, maintain equipment, and cover the overhead cost of lessons and classes for children in need.
General and Program Support As a non-profit music school we receive no government funding and must rely on your support to survive and thrive! From rent, utilities, supplies, and much more, background operating expenses are just as important as the classes they support!
Other ways to donate
Instrument Donations The music school accepts donations of instruments in reasonable working condition. We will restore and refurbish instruments, then lend them to students who can’t afford to rent them. We might be able to accept larger instruments such as pianos, depending on size, conditions, and space availability. Please contact us if you are interested in donating your instrument.
Volunteering We are always looking for volunteers to help us at events and with projects! Do you have an artistic streak? Are you a social butterfly? Do you love to pick things up and put them down? Contact us!
