2024/2025 Tuition Rates & Term LengthsTuition Rates
30 minute lesson: $49.50 ($835 per 17 week term) 45 minute lesson: $68.25 ($1150 per 17 week term) 60 minute lesson: $91 ($1530 per 17 week term) Term Lengths Term 1 (Fall Term): 9/9/24 - 1/24/25 Term 1 Make-up weeks: 1/27/25 - 2/7/25) Monday lesson schedule is a 15 week term. Tuesday lesson schedule is an 18 week term. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lesson schedules are 17 week terms. Term 2 (Spring Term): 2/10/25-6/18/25 Term 2 Make-up weeks: 6/26/25 - 7/3/25: Tuesday and Wednesday lesson schedules are 17 week terms. Monday and Friday lessons are 15 week terms. Thursday lesson schedule is a 16 week term. Your term fee will be prorated based on your term length. Payment plans and Financial Aid are available. |
Lesson Tuition Discounts May Be Available!
MASS. CULTURAL COUNCIL'S CARD TO CULTURE PROGRAM
Dedham School of Music is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of cultural organizations across Massachusetts by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders are eligible for a tuition discount when enrolling in DSM lessons, classes and ensembles, as follows:
EBT and WIC card holders: Students of all ages enrolling in lessons, classes or ensembles are eligible to receive 75% off tuition and fees, while discounts last. The number of discounts is limited; please contact the DSM office for availability. The cardholder should identify themselves via email or phone when discussing enrollment. If a discount is available, there is no need for the participant to apply for DSM Financial Aid unless they cannot afford the remaining 25% tuition cost..
ConnectorCare card holders: Students of all ages enrolling in lessons, classes or ensembles are eligible to receive 50% off tuition and fees, while discounts last. DEDHAM SCHOOL OF MUSIC'S FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM
Dedham School of Music offers families the opportunity to apply for financial aid, by completing a simple online Financial Aid Application. Eligible families are offered financial aid and payment plans whenever possible. Families may apply for DSM financial aid while also participating in the Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture Program.

Lesson Calendar
The DSM lesson calendars show the days of each month the school is open for lessons (green), and the days we are closed for lessons (yellow). It shows in purple the days set aside for makeup lessons at the end of each term. Makeup lessons can also be held on other days of the Term as needed.
2024-25 Fall & Spring Term
The 2024-25 Fall Term (Term 1) starts September 9, 2024 and continues through January 24, 2025 followed by makeup weeks January 27 through February 7. The 2025 Spring Term (Term 2) starts February 10 through June 28 followed by makeup weeks June 20 through July 3.
