Bring Folks Together and Build Community

Singing Alive was developed because many, especially the elderly and those with disabilities, faced isolation and loneliness during the pandemic. Our overarching goal is to provide a group music experience to bring folks together and build community. Participants will have a weekly event to look forward to and will create relationships and build on current ones as they all find their voices.

This enlivened singing experience with community members led by a DSM instructor will allow participants to:
•  Free and strengthen their voices.
•  Sing simple harmonies.
•  Invoke memories from old melodies.
•  Explore our bodies as percussion.
•  Share the joy of singing in a circle. 

Rate varies by location. Free to members of the local housing authority residences.
