Tim Carew is a tenor vocalist, voice teacher, and piano teacher. He studied vocal performance at New England Conservatory, vocal pedagogy at Longy School of Music, and vocal technique with McClosky Institute of Voice. Tim has performed in various genres, including musical theater, operetta, cabaret, recital, symphonic chorus, oratorio and church music. He performed roles with Savoyard Light Opera, Masterworks Chorale, Regal Players, and Turtle Lane Playhouse, and performed in the Tanglewood Festival Chorus with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops. Tim holds a Massachusetts Educators License and serves as choral director in the Quincy Public Schools. He holds a B.S. from University of New Hampshire and an M.M. from New England Conservatory of Music. His students have excelled as vocal soloists and in auditions for musical theater, vocal-choral intensive programs, MMEA Districts/All-State, and college performing arts.
