Viridiana Hernández is a Boston-based violinist who has performed throughout Germany, Mexico, the United States, Chile, Ecuador, and Costa Rica with ensembles and orchestras including the Richmond Symphony Orchestra (Richmond, VA), Eureka Ensemble (Boston, MA), and Tzintzuni Orchestra (Morelia, Mexico). Her role as an educator is to support and empower the unique voices of her students by creating an environment of kindness, respect, discipline, and love for art. Parallel to violin and viola lessons, she enjoys teaching the fundamentals of piano. With more than 7 years of teaching experience, Viridiana currently teaches violin, viola and piano at Marblehead School of Music, violin and cello at Centre Music House, and violin at Dana Hall School of Music, where she also coaches chamber music ensembles.
As a multifaceted musician, she enjoys performing music from around the world and recently participated in the Silkroad Global Musician Workshop 2023, at the New England Conservatory. Viridiana holds a masters degree from Longy School of Music of Bard College and an undergraduate degree from Conservatorio de las Rosas. She is also a co-founder of AMBAR ensemble. |
